What You'll Do
As an Industrial Electrician, you'll play a critical role in maintaining production equipment and minimizing downtime by:
  • Troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems on high-speed manufacturing equipment
  • Maintaining PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, servo drives, sensors, encoders, and motor controls
  • Performing preventive and predictive maintenance
  • Diagnosing electrical failures and restoring equipment quickly
  • Reading and interpreting electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and ladder logic
  • Supporting equipment installations, upgrades, and start-ups
  • Working closely with Maintenance, Engineering, and Production teams
  • Following OSHA, NEC, and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) safety procedures
  • Maintaining accurate maintenance documentation
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
  • 3+ years of industrial electrical maintenance experience
  • Experience troubleshooting:
    • PLCs
    • HMIs
    • Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs)
    • Servo systems
    • Motor controls
  • Ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork
Preferred Qualifications
  • High-speed manufacturing or packaging experience
  • Siemens and/or Allen-Bradley PLC experience
  • Knowledge of Profibus or Profinet industrial networks
  • Experience with instrumentation (pressure, level, temperature)
  • Journeyman or Master Electrician License
  • OSHA 30 or NFPA 70E certification
Education
One of the following is preferred:
  • Associate degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or Industrial Electricity
  • Technical diploma or certification
  • Electrical apprenticeship
  • Equivalent hands-on industrial experience
