United Uptime Services, a fast-growing leader in the petroleum services industry, is looking for experienced, energetic, hardworking Journeyman Electrician for Albuquerque, NM assist in the installation and service of electrical components related fueling systems at fueling depots, convenience stores, hospitals, universities, etc.

United Uptime Services provides industry leading compliance testing solutions in all 50 states through its Tanknology Business.
What You'll Do:
  • Trouble-shoot and diagnose malfunctioning systems or components using the appropriate testing equipment to find and correct the failure.

  • Install conduits, pull wire, and make final connections to circuit breakers, petroleum pumps, dispensers, Point of Sale consoles, tank monitors, and petroleum lighting.

  • Inspect electrical system and components to verify compliance with safety requirements, codes, project specifications, and manufacturer requirements.

  • Verify proper operation of the electrical system.

  • Advise management, customers, and fellow workmen when hazards are present and when electrical systems are safe to operate.

  • Work with project estimator on material take-off, material cost, and labor allowances

  • Must be able to use ammeters, voltmeters, thermal scanners, and cable testers to find problems and ensure components are working properly

  • Ability to use commonly used hand and power tools including screwdrivers, wire strippers, drills, saws, and conduit benders to run and protect wiring

  • Must be willing to travel and work out of town, sometimes overnight.

What We're Looking For:
  • High school diploma or, GED

  • At least 1 year of Commercial or Industrial Journeyman Electrician experience required

  • Applicable and Valid State License dependent on location of role

  • Knowledge of National Electrical Code

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

  • Strong communication skills and customer relations skills

  • Basic computer skills

  • Good work ethic

  • Knowledge of Class 1, Division 1 wiring a plus

  • To frequently lift and/or move 75 - 100 pounds while performing necessary duties

  • Work flexible hours and outside in all types of weather

  • Work independently and as a member of a team

  • Create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, and supervisors)

  • Pre-Employment Testing: must pass drug screen, background, and MVR check.
