Job Description
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Electrical Helper to assist experienced electricians with residential and commercial electrical projects. This position is ideal for someone looking to build a career in the electrical trade while gaining valuable hands-on experience. The Electrical Helper will support installations, repairs, maintenance, and general job site operations while learning industry best practices and safety standards.
The ideal candidate is eager to learn, mechanically inclined, and able to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities: 
  • Assist electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential and commercial settings
  • Help install conduit, wiring, outlets, switches, lighting fixtures, panels, and other electrical components
  • Gather, transport, organize, and maintain tools, materials, and equipment at job sites
  • Pull wire, drill holes, bend conduit, and perform other tasks under the supervision of a licensed electrician
  • Assist with troubleshooting and identifying electrical issues
  • Read and interpret basic blueprints, diagrams, and work orders
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Follow all company safety procedures and applicable electrical codes
  • Load and unload materials and prepare job sites before and after work is completed
  • Communicate professionally with supervisors, coworkers, and customers
  • Perform general labor and other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Requirements: 
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred
  • Previous construction, electrical, maintenance, or general labor experience preferred
  • Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn the electrical trade
  • Ability to safely use hand and power tools
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding work, including bending, climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces
  • Reliable transportation and valid driver's license preferred
  • Must have a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and dependable attendance
  • Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team
