Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Electrician to join our construction team. The Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and equipment on commercial, industrial, and/or construction projects. This position requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install electrical systems, wiring, conduit, panels, lighting, and equipment according to blueprints, specifications, and electrical codes

  • Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and construction documents

  • Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform repairs as needed

  • Install and terminate switches, outlets, breakers, transformers, and control systems

  • Perform preventative maintenance on electrical systems and equipment

  • Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with OSHA standards and NEC codes

  • Coordinate with project managers, superintendents, and other trades on job sites

  • Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in clean and safe condition

  • Accurately document work performed and report project progress

  • Assist with material handling and inventory as needed

  • All other duties as assigned

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required

  • Journeyman Electrician license preferred (if applicable by state)

  • Minimum of 2+ years of electrical experience in commercial, industrial, or construction environments

  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, NEC code requirements, and safety standards

  • Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics

  • Experience bending conduit and pulling wire

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel if required

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds

  • Ability to stand, kneel, climb ladders, and work in various weather conditions

  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces when necessary
