Technical
โ€ข ย  ย Degree: Bachelorโ€™s or Masterโ€™s degree in Electrical Engineering
โ€ข ย  ย Registered Professional Engineer License preferred
โ€ข ย  ย 5-10 yearsโ€™ experience preferredย 
โ€ข ย  ย Demonstrated ability to lead electrical design projects
โ€ข ย  ย Demonstrate project management skills.
โ€ข ย  ย Experience using NEC, AutoCAD, ETAP/SKM, and Revit requiredย

Pre-Design Engineeringย 
โ€ข ย  ย Perform field surveys for the design of electrical systems, gather information, and prepare site assessment reports.
โ€ข ย  ย Prepare electrical schematic designs.

Design Engineeringย 
โ€ข ย  ย Design power single line and riser diagramsย 
โ€ข ย  ย Perform electrical calculations (arc flash, coordination, short circuit, voltage drop, load flow) using ETAP/SKM.
โ€ข ย  ย Design low voltage and medium voltage infrastructure.ย 
โ€ข ย  ย Design for electrical equipment (substation, switchboard, transformer, panelboard) replacement projects.
โ€ข ย  ย Understand and utilize CAD/BIM standards.
โ€ข ย  ย Have a working knowledge of National Electrical Code, Washington Codes and Energy Standards to design electrical systems.
โ€ข ย  ย Coordination among different disciplines, such as mechanical, plumbing, telecom, civil, structural, and architectural. Work in close contact with the entire design team.

Project Management
โ€ข ย  ย Lead projects with a service-first mindset, ensuring client expectations are met through clear communication and technically sound, high-quality deliverables
โ€ข ย  ย Oversee electrical design for small to medium-sized projects while fostering collaboration and empowering emerging professionals
โ€ข ย  ย Mentor junior design engineers by sharing knowledge, encouraging innovation, and reinforcing a culture of continuous learning
โ€ข ย  ย Support the preparation of proposals for small to medium-sized projects in collaboration with senior engineers, promoting teamwork and business development
โ€ข ย  ย Uphold P2S standards for documentation and quality, reinforcing accountability and trust throughout the project lifecycle

Construction Administrationย 
โ€ข ย  ย Provide timely, thoughtful responses to RFIs, maintaining a high level of service and client satisfaction throughout construction
