Job description

$10,000 Signing Bonus, Competitive Starting Wage, Vacation Credit for Experience

Pay rate: $39.36/hour plus applicable shift differential

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Journeyman Electrician coordinates work with other Maintenance staff, Lead Electrician and Contractors. Works closely with production to continually improve safety and equipment productivity and performance.  Accountable for the upkeep and proper functionality of all electrical equipment and systems in the assigned facility.

SHIFT: Graveyard (Must be able to work a 12-hour shift, graveyard hours)

MAJOR TASKS:

Work under the supervision of Lead Electrician and Maintenance Manager.

Ensure the proper functionality of all electrical equipment in the facility.

Comply with all safety rules and regulations.

Appropriate use and handling of electrical testing and repair equipment.

Maintain electrical parts inventories records and place orders for spare parts and equipment.

Retain and update electrical repair and maintenance log.
 

Read electrical prints.

Schedule routine checks for spotting any malfunctions, following all safety norms and standard operating procedures of working.

Attending job training activities.

Coordinating work functions with co-workers and other organizational departments.

Experience in reading, understanding and troubleshooting complex PLC programs.

Completing all tasks and general duties as assigned.
