Overview:
Summary:
Seeking a skilled NETA Testing Technician to perform testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of electrical power distribution systems up to 15 kV. The role involves hands-on field work, technical supervision, and report preparation.
Mandatory: NETA (LEVEL - 2 - 4)
Responsibilities:
  • Test and maintain electrical power systems, switchgear, and relays.
  • Perform troubleshooting, calibration, and load recording.
  • Conduct power system studies (short circuit, coordination).
  • Lead field projects and ensure safety and quality compliance.
  • Prepare detailed technical reports and documentation.
  • Support business growth through client engagement and accurate project scoping.

Qualifications:
  • BSEE/BSME, technical school graduate, or equivalent military training with relevant field experience.
  • Minimum 3-4 years of similar testing experience.
  • NETA certification required.
  • Strong knowledge of NEC, OSHA, and NFPA standards.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and computer-controlled test equipment.
  • Valid driver's license; ability to travel up to 50%.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Physical Requirements:
  • Regular lifting up to 25 lbs; occasional lifting of 100 lbs test sets.
  • Ability to stand, walk, climb, and kneel as required.
