Location:ย On-site in Streetsboro or Aurora, OHEmployment Type:ย Direct HireSchedule: Monday-Thursday 2pm-12:30amWe are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Test Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing test methods, operating test equipment, and conducting functional testing to ensure our power distribution solutions meet the highest standards of reliability. You will work with limited supervision, playing a lead role in both new product testing and standard production evaluation.Qualifications:

  • Education:ย Associate degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, equivalent Military Electrical Training, or a minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience performing electrical testing in the power systems industry.
  • Technical Skills:ย Hands-on experience with electrical test equipment (multimeters, current meters, etc.) and precision measurement tools.
  • Documentation:ย Ability to read/interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams; proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Knowledge:ย Deep understanding of electronics, circuit-level troubleshooting, and electrical safety standards (e.g., LOTO/PPE).

Responsibilities

  • Testing & Inspection:ย Perform pre-power up, functional, and burn-in/stress testing of electrical equipment (up to 600VAC).
  • Troubleshooting & Repair:ย Assist with AC/DC circuit troubleshooting and perform minor repairs on control, power, and fiber optic assemblies.
  • Documentation:ย Maintain accurate test reports and technical documentation.
  • Technical Setup:ย Program electronic devices using computer tools and set up test equipment.
  • Operations:ย Work independently on routine tasks while using hand tools and following established safety procedures.
