Job description

At Elite Electric, we have been committed to providing quality electrical services in the greater Portland metro area since 2010. We are seeking skilled and dependable Electrical estimator to join our growing team. This role focuses estimating projects, coordinating bid submittals, and supporting Project Managers through course of construction.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Attending job walks.
  • Construction takeoffs and estimating.
  • Subcontractor/Vendor quote procurement.
  • Proposal creation / bid submission.
  • Organizing and maintaining bidding information.
  • Bill of Materials creation.
  • Purchasing assistance.
  • Apply various other company/bidding processes.


Qualifications:

  • Electrical construction estimating background and/or education (5 years+).
  • Demonstrated strong organizational skills
  • Demonstrated strong communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time.
  • Demonstrated strong computer skills.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Able to problem solve and use critical thinking to identify challenges.
  • Negotiation skills.
  • Budgeting and accounting knowledge.
  • Conest / Accubid Estimating Software desired.
