Herrmann Ultrasonics is hiring for a Field Service Engineer (Ultrasonic Engineer) in Bartlett, IL.

Job profile

  • Responsible for providing technical expertise to our customers
  • Planning, implementation and documentation of machine and equipment commissioning
  • Execute Factory Acceptance Testing, Site Acceptance Testing and customer personnel training
  • Providing technical support to our customers including phone/email support, on-site, and in-house customer visits
  • Assuming emergency and stand-by services including provision of shipping and or delivery of spare parts
  • Assisting with technical trainings and customer seminars
Requirements:


  • At least 1-3 years of mechanical and electrical service experience
  • Associates degree in engineering or equivalent experience
  • Basic theoretical knowledge in electrical and mechanical engineering principles
  • Electrical experience with high/low voltage circuits and ability to read electrical schematics
  • Excellent communications skills and motivated to build long term relationships with customers and colleagues
  • Willingness to work hands-on and ability to travel within the USA, Canada and Mexico
