Whatย Youโ€™llย Do:

  • Design electrical, instrumentation, and control systems for water and wastewater treatment facilities, pump stations, and related infrastructure.

  • Support senior engineers in creating construction drawings, technical specifications, and reports.ย 

  • Perform calculations such as voltage drop, load studies, and conduit/cable sizing.ย 

  • Produce high-quality electrical design documentation usingย REVIT,ย CAD,ย and/or BIM software.ย 

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and project stakeholders to deliver coordinated solutions.ย 

  • Contribute to project planning, research, and design development.ย 

  • Follow Kennedy Jenksโ€™ quality, safety, and engineering standards.ย 

Who You Are:

  • Bachelorโ€™sย orย Masterโ€™s degreeย in Electrical Engineering.ย 

  • 4+ย years of relevant experienceย designingย power systems,ย power distribution,ย preferablyย in water, wastewater, or industrial waste treatment facilities.ย 

  • EITย registrationย requiredย in the State of California; PEย (CA)ย highly preferred (or ability to obtain within 1 year).ย ย 

  • Knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, and power distribution systems (120/208V and 277/480V).ย ย 

  • Intermediateย knowledgeย onย stand-byย generator sizing.ย 

  • Intermediate knowledge on CSIย specifications.ย ย 

  • Strong written and verbal communication skillsย toย attend meetings withย multidisciplinaryย engineering teams;ย beย able to support multiple projects atย different designย stages.ย ย
