Job description

You will be the Manufacturing Engineer - Electrical Planner Level 2 for the Electrical PrePlanning Team which is responsible for initiating manufacturing planning activities and establishing the foundation for successful productinterface execution.


What You Will Be Doing


As the Manufacturing Engineer - Electrical Planner Level 2 you will be responsible for leading earlystage planning for new product introductions and translating electrical design requirements into actionable manufacturing plans.


Your responsibilities will include:



  • Lead the earlystage planning process, defining manufacturing requirements and aligning them with product design.

  • Create preplans that cover tooling needs, material flow, and laborcharging requirements to set realistic execution targets.

  • Partner with electrical engineering, design engineering, supplychain, quality, and production teams to capture interface requirements and close designtomanufacturing gaps.

  • Maintain accurate, uptodate planning documentation, work instructions, and bestpractice guidelines in accordance with AMMM standards.

  • Provide technical guidance to peers, fostering a collaborative environment that drives highquality results.
