Electrical Division Manager - Commercial Mechanical Services Company - Base Salary to 170k/year - Phoenix, AZ

  • Our client, a well-established commercial mechanical services company, is seeking an experienced Electrical Division Manager to lead and oversee its electrical operations based in the Phoenix, Arizona area. This leadership position is responsible for managing the electrical division, overseeing project execution, supervising project management staff and field leadership, ensuring financial performance, and driving successful project delivery for commercial electrical construction projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the electrical division.
  • Manage and mentor a team of Project Managers and provide leadership to field Superintendents.
  • Oversee project budgets, cost control, scheduling, and overall financial performance.
  • Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget.
  • Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions when necessary.
  • Review financial performance and maintain accountability for departmental profitability.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure successful project execution.
  • Develop operational processes that improve efficiency and project delivery.
  • Maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and accountability to project teams.

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience overseeing project budgets within commercial electrical construction.
  • Strong understanding of commercial electrical construction operations.
  • Experience managing multiple commercial electrical construction projects simultaneously.
  • Experience leading Project Managers and supervising field leadership.
  • Strong knowledge of budgeting, cost control, scheduling, and project financial management.
  • Demonstrated experience maintaining project timelines and ensuring successful project execution.
  • Proven leadership and team management experience.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Compensation:

  • Base salary in the 120k - 170k/year range
