Job description

Position Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Electrical Superintendent to oversee electrical operations on large-scale construction projects, particularly within the semiconductor and industrial sectors. This leadership role is ideal for someone with a strong electrical background, proven supervisory experience, and proficiency with construction management tools such as ProCore, Bluebeam, and Gantt charts.

Key Responsibilities

Project Oversight & Planning

  • Lead electrical construction efforts from start to finish, ensuring delivery on schedule, within budget, and to quality standards.
  • Review scopes of work and allocate manpower effectively.

Team Leadership

  • Supervise and mentor electrical crews, subcontractors, and vendors.
  • Ensure proper staffing, training, and performance on-site.

Safety & Compliance

  • Enforce all local, state, and federal electrical codes.
  • Lead safety meetings, inspections, and maintain compliance protocols.

Coordination & Communication

  • Work closely with other project leaders to integrate electrical work with overall project activities.
  • Maintain consistent communication with stakeholders and project management.

Quality Assurance

  • Implement quality control measures to ensure adherence to technical and regulatory specifications.
  • Resolve issues proactively, including technical or scheduling challenges.

Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain up-to-date records, including electrical drawings, permits, inspections, and progress reports.
  • Provide clear reporting to senior leadership and clients.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (preferred).
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial electrical systems and construction management software (ProCore, Bluebeam).
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and construction safety standards.

  • Ability to work in fast-paced environments and meet tight deadlines.
  • Licensure or certification as an electrician or electrical contractor (preferred).
