Job description

Position Summary

Quality "Plus" Services is seeking a dependable and safety-focused Material Handler to support semiconductor tool installation projects. This position is responsible for receiving, organizing, tracking, staging, and distributing electrical and mechanical materials used in the installation of advanced semiconductor manufacturing equipment. The ideal candidate will have warehouse experience, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced construction and technology environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against packing slips, purchase orders, and project requirements.
  • Safely unload, move, store, and stage materials, tools, and equipment within warehouse and jobsite locations.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records using material tracking systems, spreadsheets, or customer-provided software.
  • Prepare and deliver materials to installation crews according to project schedules and priorities.
  • Coordinate with project managers, supervisors, and field personnel to ensure material availability.
  • Identify, label, and organize electrical components, conduit, cable, fittings, hardware, and semiconductor tool installation materials.
  • Perform routine inventory counts and assist with inventory reconciliation.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe warehouse and staging areas.
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment in accordance with safety procedures.
  • Assist with packaging, shipping, and return of excess materials and equipment.
  • Report damaged, missing, or incorrect materials to management promptly.
  • Follow all Quality "Plus" Services, customer, OSHA, and site-specific safety requirements.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Previous experience in warehouse, logistics, material handling, or construction support.
  • Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds regularly.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and inventory tracking systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
  • Ability to pass required background checks, drug screenings, and site access requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting electrical construction, semiconductor facilities, data centers, or industrial projects.
  • Forklift certification or previous forklift operation experience.
  • Familiarity with electrical materials and construction terminology.
  • Experience working in cleanroom or high-tech manufacturing environments.
  • Knowledge of inventory management and material control processes.

Physical Requirements

  • Frequently stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift throughout the workday.
  • Safely lift, carry, and move materials up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work in warehouse, construction, and industrial environments.
  • Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).

Work Environment

  • Electrical warehouse and semiconductor manufacturing facilities.
  • Fast-paced project environment with changing priorities.
  • May require overtime, weekend work, or shift adjustments based on project needs.
