Job description

About the Role

Electra Solutions LLC is a growing residential electrical contractor serving homeowners across the Raleigh–Durham Triangle. We're looking for an organized, dependable Office Administrator to be the backbone of our office — the person who keeps the schedule tight, the phones answered, and the paperwork flowing so our electricians can focus on the work.

This is a customer-facing, detail-driven role for someone who thrives on staying organized, enjoys talking with homeowners, and takes pride in keeping a busy office running smoothly. If you're friendly, reliable, and great at juggling moving parts, we'd love to meet you.

What You'll Do

  • Answer incoming calls, greet customers, and be the welcoming first point of contact for Electra Solutions
  • Schedule and dispatch service and installation appointments, and keep technicians' calendars organized
  • Create, send, and follow up on estimates and invoices
  • Process payments and maintain accurate customer and job records
  • Manage the flow of paperwork — work orders, permits, and job documentation
  • Order office and job-site materials and track inventory as needed
  • Follow up with customers on scheduling, quotes, and satisfaction
  • Support permitting and inspection scheduling with local jurisdictions
  • Maintain organized digital and paper filing systems
  • Assist ownership with day-to-day administrative tasks and keep the office running smoothly

What We're Looking For

  • Prior office administration, receptionist, or dispatch experience — experience in the trades (electrical, HVAC, plumbing, or construction) is a big plus
  • Excellent phone manner and customer-service skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Comfortable with computers — email, scheduling software, and basic bookkeeping/invoicing tools (QuickBooks a plus)
  • Ability to multitask and stay calm in a fast-paced environment
  • Dependable, professional, and self-motivated
  • Clear written and verbal communication
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Must pass a background check and drug test

What We Offer

  • $18–$24 per hour, based on experience
  • Health, dental, and vision insurance
  • Paid holidays and PTO
  • Steady, full-time Monday–Friday schedule
  • Ongoing training and development
  • Supportive team environment
  • Opportunity for advancement
  • A company culture focused on professionalism and positivity

Why Join Electra Solutions?

We're building more than just an electrical company — we're building a team homeowners trust and employees are proud to be part of. If you want to work somewhere that values people, professionalism, and growth, we'd love to talk with you.

How to Apply
