Role Summary: Lead complex industrial electrical construction projects from inception to closeout, delivering on time, within budget, and to the highest safety, quality, and compliance standards. Provide strong field leadership, proactive stakeholder coordination, and strategic oversight to support our rapidly growing electrical specialty contracting firm. Ideal for results-oriented professionals who excel under pressure and adapt quickly in dynamic industrial environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee field operations and execution for projects of varying scope and size.
  • Interpret construction documents (blueprints, specifications) to guide accurate project planning and delivery.
  • Manage multi-project procurement: source materials, optimize costs, and ensure timely delivery of long-lead items.
  • Coordinate contracted scope with owners, general contractors, construction managers, subcontractors, and other trades.
  • Develop, update, and maintain project schedules to achieve milestones and deadlines.
  • Monitor key metrics (labor, costs, production); track progress via earned value and report regularly to management.
  • Review/approve timesheets, expense reports, and field documentation (submittals, RFIs, change orders, daily reports, as-builts).
  • Champion EHS (environmental, health, safety) awareness and compliance on-site.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in electrical construction or project management, preferably industrial.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or construction management (preferred).
  • NC Electrical License (preferred).
  • Bilingual Spanish (preferred).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Project); experience with Accubid, and Procore (preferred).
  • Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills; proven ability to manage multiple projects, stakeholders, and shifting priorities.
  • Capable of moderate physical effort (occasional lifting/moving up to 40 lbs); reasonable accommodations available for disabilities.

Location & Travel:

Based in the Raleigh, NC area with regular regional travel (including occasional overnights).
