Job DescriptionSALARY LEVEL:SCHEDULE B - $38.32SHIFT:ALL ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Employees must be responsible to work in a safe manner following safe work practices while in the plant or on company premises.Diagnosis malfunction building equipment, process equipment and machinery and discuss malfunction with other maintenance workers, such as process maintenance, packaging maintenance, and refrigeration maintenance to diagnose malfunction. Communicates department work being done to Production line leads.Assist in plant projects as well as assisting with project start upsDiagnosis and replace faulty components on machines such as relays, switches, transformers, motor sensing devices.Diagnosis and repair or replace faulty components, such as printed circuit boards, transmitters, receivers, and readout indicators.Calibrates and tests measuring equipment such as scales, flow meters, level indicators, temperature, pressure, and speed indicators using the proper test equipment such as voltmeter, ammeter, signal generators, oscilloscope, and rtd simulators.Troubleshoots process control equipment, and systems using computers to diagnose program ladder logic.Develops and programs controllers using associated computers and software.Interprets schematics and blueprints for installation and troubleshooting purposes.Performs and maintains timely work orders and duties as assigned.Works in a safe and orderly manner while in the plant or on the plant property.Continues update training program to match new installed plant equipment.Mentor new employees through the department training program.Aid in owning safety and tracking completion of safety training.Perform other duties as directed by supervisorBasic & Preferred QualificationsQUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform functions.EDUCATION AND / OR EXPERIENCE:Minimum qualification for this position is one of the following.
