Job description

Titan Florida LLC has an immediate opening for an Electrical Maintenance Manager for our Pennsuco Aggregates Division located in Medley, FL. This exempt position will report directly to the Technical Services Manager.  The Electrical Maintenance Manager is responsible for the overall leadership, execution, and performance of all electrical maintenance, automation, and electrical capital projects at an aggregate manufacturing facility. This role has full accountability for electrical reliability, safety, and continuous improvement, as well as the design, implementation, and commissioning of capital and sustaining projects supporting plant operations.


Electrical Maintenance & Reliability

  • Lead and manage all electrical maintenance activities for fixed plant assets including crushers, screens, conveyors, MCCs, VFDs, substations, PLCs, and plant instrumentation.
  • Develop and execute preventive, predictive, and corrective electrical maintenance programs to maximize equipment uptime and production reliability.
  • Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions for electrical failures, downtime events, and recurring issues.
  • Lead electrical safety programs including lockout/tagout, arcflash mitigation, and contractor safety oversight.

Capital Projects & Engineering

  • Serve as the electrical lead for all capital and sustaining projects from concept through commissioning.
  • Develop electrical scopes, designs, specifications, drawings, and cost estimates for new installations, upgrades, and plant modifications.
  • Manage execution of electrical work, including contractor coordination, schedule control, budget oversight, and system commissioning.

Automation & Controls

  • Own plant automation and controls systems, including PLCs, HMIs, networking, and field instrumentation.
  • Lead troubleshooting, optimization, and upgrades of control systems to improve safety, throughput, and reliability.

Leadership & Team Development

  • Lead, train, and develop electricians, E&I technicians, and electrical contractors.
  • Coordinate resources to support normal operations, outages, shutdowns, and capital work.

Budgeting & Asset Management

  • Develop and manage the electrical maintenance budget, including labor, materials, spare parts, and contractor services.
  • Maintain accurate electrical documentation, drawings, and asset records.

Continuous Improvement

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on reliability, energy efficiency, automation, and cost reduction.
  • Support plant performance metrics including uptime, safety, cost per ton, and energy usage.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical field preferred (or equivalent industrial experience).
  • Minimum 7+ years of experience in electrical maintenance within heavy industrial, mining, aggregates, or manufacturing environments.
  • Strong knowledge of industrial power distribution, automation, and electrical safety standards.
  • Proven leadership experience managing technical teams and contractors.
  • Experience leading capital projects from design through commissioning.
  • Ensure compliance with MSHA, NFPA 70/70E, NEC, CFR 30 Part 56 regulatory documents, and company electrical safety standards.
  • Experience with power distribution systems up to 13.8 kV required, up to 230KV a plus.
  • Experience with preventive maintenance and maintenance management of electrical equipment related to a large industrial facility, such as MCCs, VFDs, transformers, power lines, large AC and DC motors, DC generators, etc.
  • Ability to interpret and create ladder logic diagrams, logic diagrams, process flow diagrams and electrical schematics.
  • Excellent computer skills including use of Microsoft Office suite and MS Project. CMMS experience is a plus.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of root cause analysis methodology
  • Safety conscious work ethic for the protection of self and all others in the work area.
  • Basic knowledge and understanding of limestone quarry operations is preferred.
  • Prior heavy equipment maintenance experience in a construction or mining environment preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Must be bilingual (English/Spanish).
  • Ability to work well with others.
  • Able to speak, hear, walk, kneel, crouch, climb, crawl, and lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
  • Capable of working in confined spaces.
  • Ability to perform assigned tasks properly and in a timely manner.
  • Available to work days, nights, and weekends as needed.
  • Positive attitude to achieve goals and deliver results individually and in a team environment.
