Electrical I&C Engineer Job Opportunity - Nuclear Capital Projects - Oak Ridge, TN


I'm looking for a skilled Electrical I&C Engineer to join my client's team on a massive new nuclear capital project.


As the Electrical I&C Engineer, youโ€™ll work on complex engineering assignments in electrical power, instrumentation, and controls. You will help develop technical requirements related to I&C and process controls, network architecture and design, developing software interfaces, and providing crucial project operations support.


This person will help define technical requirements and architectures for electrical power systems and I&C solutions, assist in V&V processes, and ensure all work is done in compliance with engineering standards and procedures.


Requirements:

  • BSc Electrical Engineering (advanced degree preferred)
  • At least 3 years' experience with I&C Engineering, ideally 5+
  • Proficiency in PLC and UI programming with Allen Bradley and/or Schneider electric systems
  • Experience with Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs)
  • Prior experience with software development, installation, and testing for I&C systems


Preferred:

  • Experience in network design and electrical power systems
  • nuclear energy experience
  • familiarity with V&V processes for I&C systems
