This position can independently work lighting, power, and control systems within commercial and industrial facilities. They understand, interpret, and implement NFPA70 NEC and will work in multiple states. Essential Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:

  • Interprets technical drawings and schematics, specifications, and submittals to determine layout of electrical systems
  • Leads compliance with OSHA and other applicable standards

  • Ensures high quality installations of all electrical equipment and components
  • Installs and repairs wiring, electrical fixtures, power equipment, and components of machinery and equipment following NEC

Education and Experience:

  • Valid state license that permits you to practice as a journeyman electrician

Physical Requirements:

  • Physically fit and capable of carrying up to 50 pounds.
  • Frequently work on manlifts, ladders and scaffolds.

  • Operates construction equipment, including, forklifts, backhoes, and cargo trucks.
  • Work weeks are typically 40 hours with project specific overtime, as needed.
  • Project specific travel may be required.
