Job Duration: at least 2 years

Job Schedule: 60 hours (typically 6/10's)

Rates/Per diem:

Electrical General Foreman (licensed): $53.00/hr - 900/week (must meet mileage requirements)

Electrical General Foreman: $49.00/hr - 900/week (must meet mileage requirements)

Job Description for Electrical General Foreman:

Responsible for supervision of multiple crews, resource coordination, safety, procurement, quality, payroll, project controls, scheduling subcontractors, timekeeping, as well as attending client meetings. In addition, they are responsible for layout, installation, and repair of electrical / instrument wiring, devices, supports, equipment, etc.

Essential Duties and responsibilities for Electrical General Foreman (including but not limited to):

  • Read and understand manuals, schematics and P&IDโ€™s
  • Perform and document calibrations, installations, fault diagnosis, repair of electronic, mechanical and pneumatic instruments and systems i.e., pressure level and flow transmitters, etc.
  • Identify and correct measurement errors
  • Replace instrumentation and controls as needed
  • Testing, troubleshoot and repair of AC/DC motor controls and drives
  • Maintain configuration management to ensure compliance of system redline drawings, engineering documentation and other technical specifications
  • As necessary, provide input and support for the design, installation and upgrade of the instrumentation and control systems
  • Operate test apparatus during test cycle to produce, regulate and record effects of actual or simulated conditions such as vibration, stress, temperature, humidity, pressure, altitude and acceleration
  • Consult with supervision on problem resolution/troubleshooting
  • Clerical/administrative duties related to task or project documentation
  • Use of computerized equipment and software to perform testing functions and produce graphs
  • Attend safety training as directed
  • Commitment to the company goal of achieving a zero injury culture; understand and follow company safety procedures
  • Employee must be able to travel to and from the jobsite via personal vehicle or other public form of transportation, if required
