Job description

Commercial Electrical Foreman / Project Superintendent

Seeking a Commercial Electrical Foreman / Project Superintendent to join the team in the Baton Rouge, LA area. This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for an experienced commercial electrical professional who can lead field operations on complex projects while helping drive productivity, safety, and successful project delivery across a growing backlog of work.

What You'll Do as the Commercial Electrical Foreman / Project Superintendent:

  • Lead day-to-day field operations on commercial electrical construction projects
  • Manage and direct electrical crews, subcontractors, and workflow activities
  • Coordinate manpower planning, production schedules, and project execution
  • Oversee installation of feeders, branch systems, underground rough-in, lighting, devices, equipment, and specialty systems
  • Maintain project schedules while ensuring quality workmanship and jobsite safety
  • Conduct safety meetings and enforce OSHA compliance standards
  • Review project drawings, specifications, and installation requirements
  • Track project progress through daily logs and production reporting
  • Coordinate closely with Project Managers, General Contractors, and field leadership
  • Assist with material planning, procurement coordination, and short-term scheduling
  • Mentor apprentices, helpers, and junior electricians in the field
  • Support safe, profitable, and efficient project completion from start to finish

Must-Haves as the Commercial Electrical Foreman / Project Superintendent:

  • 5+ years of commercial electrical construction leadership experience
  • Proven experience leading crews and managing commercial electrical projects independently
  • Strong understanding of commercial electrical systems, installations, and field operations
  • Experience coordinating manpower, schedules, and production activities
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and electrical plans
