Electrical Engineering Technician, Altoona, PA Office
Job Summary:
The EADS Group, Inc. has an immediate opening for a full-time Electrical Engineering Technician headquartered in our Altoona, PA Office. The Electrical Engineering Technician will support our current clients and workload including assignments in both the private and public sectors.
Under the direction of a Project Manager, an Electrical Engineering Technician would be responsible for
  • - Designing, developing, and providing electrical solutions on a wide range of Architectural, Municipal and Site related projects.
  • - These tasks include but are not limited to assisting with the preparation of design deliverables, report preparation, data analysis and field investigations.

The preferred candidate will work with other engineering disciplines along with Professional Engineers, Architects, and Technicians to support them from an electrical standpoint.
Qualifications
The preferred candidate will have an Associate Degree or post-secondary training from a trade school in Engineering Technology or a related field, along with a minimum 2 years of related experience in the electrical engineering field. Relevant experience may be substituted for formal education. The preferred candidate will also have a working knowledge of AutoCAD.
