We are looking for a Junior Field Applications Engineer! NVIDIA's AI platforms have already made a major impact on the field and are broadly used across leading academic institutions, start-ups, and industry, including the world's largest enterprise companies. We need passionate, hardworking, and creative people to help us continue to bring groundbreaking enterprise solutions to the world. This Field Applications Engineering role is for a specialist in system design, networking and leader to our customers who believe that artificial intelligence is a new computing revolution and has the potential to transform the industry.
NVIDIA is seeking an outstanding FAE with a focus on datacenter system and network design for AI computing. Your primary responsibilities will be onsite technical engagement for large datacenter deployments of NVIDIA AI computing systems. Your role will involve working across functions within our organizations while also ensuring a positive experience for external customers.
What you'll be doing:
  • Provide onsite support for large datacenter deployments of NVIDIA AI solutions.
  • Solving complex hardware and deployment issues
  • Be a technical specialist on GPU and networking products directly supporting sales account managers, working closely with the team to deliver outstanding AI datacenter solutions.
  • Actively establish the technical relationship with our customer's engineers, management, and architects at focus accounts.
  • Identify customer architectures and key product requirements in the enterprise AI market.
  • Provide technical and sales training to the direct sales team and channel partners.
  • Establish strong relationships and communication channels with internal teams.

What we need to see:
  • BS or MS in Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience).
  • In-depth knowledge of servers, storage systems, network devices, and other data center hardware
  • Capable of working in a constantly evolving environment without losing focus.
  • Ability to multitask effectively in a multifaceted environment.
  • Expert analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong time-management and organization skills for coordinating multiple initiatives, priorities, and implementations of new technology and products into very sophisticated projects.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills in English with the ability to effectively collaborate with management and engineering.

Ways to stand out from the crowd:
  • Experience with large-scale rollouts of datacenter equipment.
  • Networking knowledge -- TCP/IP, RDMA, RoCE, NICs, Switches, etc.
  • C/C++ and Python programming skills.
  • Embedded Linux System, APIs, and similar embedded OS knowledge.
  • Experience working with OEMs in the industrial, military, and ruggedized computing space.

Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The base salary range is 92,000 USD - 149,500 USD for Level 1, and 108,000 USD - 178,250 USD for Level 2.
You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
