Electrical Engineer – NYC/ Manhattan/ Midtown South

Direct Hire/ Permanent Placement

$80k – $160k Base (mid-sr. roles open), Full benefits, 4x9’s and half day Friday from home, 401k, etc.

THE CLIENT

Smallish (+/- 300 ppl over 5 offices) 30+ year old MEP+ firmwith their hands in numerous fields and building types: Science & Tech, Healthcare, Central Plant/ Utilities, Education, Hospitality, etc.

ROLE/ RESPONSIBILITIES

• Electrical design of power distribution, lighting, fire alarm in accordance with NEC codes and standards

• Electrical equipment calcs, selection, and layout of switchgear, transformers, electrical panels and emergency generators

• Design recommendations, decisions, planning, delegating, reviewing, and QC of work from junior staff

• Project Management and client/ site visits


REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or similar

• REVIT, AutoCAD

• 3+ years of commercial experience for an AEC/ MEP firm

• EIT or PE preferred
