Position Summary

The Electrical Engineer will support electrical engineering activities for manufacturing equipment installations and plant expansion projects, including electrical planning, installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and startup.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and support electrical systems for new equipment and plant expansion projects.
  • Develop and review electrical layouts, schematics, one lines, wiring diagrams, and equipment specifications.
  • Coordinate electrical installation, wiring, and commissioning of industrial equipment.
  • Support startup, troubleshooting, and turnover of equipment to operations.
  • Work with contractors, vendors, maintenance, and operations to complete projects safely and effectively.
  • Ensure electrical installations comply with NEC, NFPA 70E, and company standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • 5+ years of electrical engineering experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Experience with electrical installation, commissioning, and startup.
  • Understanding of low and medium voltage power systems.
  • Experience with motors, VFDs, MCCs, control panels, and industrial electrical equipment.
  • Ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
  • Working knowledge of NEC and NFPA 70E.
