Key Responsibilities
  • Hands-on Electrical Design: Personally execute and oversee the production of comprehensive electrical design packages (Concept through 100% / Issued for Construction) for federal facilities, including medium-voltage distribution, interior power, lighting, grounding, lightning protection, and emergency/standby power systems.
  • Engineering Calculations: Perform and seal critical engineering calculations including short-circuit analysis, overcurrent protective device coordination, arc flash studies (using SKM or ETAP software), and voltage drop calculations.
  • Design-Build Support: Act as the lead corporate electrical technical authority on major Federal Design-Build (DB) and Design-Bid-Build (DBB) proposals and executed contracts.
  • Quality Assurance & Mentorship: Provide rigorous independent technical reviews (QA/QC) for multi-discipline federal design projects while mentoring mid-level and junior electrical designers.
