Position Summary

The Electrical Project Manager is responsible for the overall success of assigned projects, including safety, financial performance, production, quality, scheduling, customer satisfaction, and team leadership. This role works closely with division leadership, superintendents, foremen, vendors, subcontractors, fabrication teams, safety, and human resources to ensure projects are planned, executed, and completed successfully.

What Youll Do

  • Lead assigned electrical construction projects from planning through completion
  • Provide oversight and direction to jobsite supervision
  • Manage project financial performance, cost reports, productivity, and profitability
  • Ensure projects meet safety, quality, schedule, and production goals
  • Review plans, specifications, drawings, and construction schedules
  • Coordinate manpower, materials, tools, equipment, and project resources
  • Work closely with superintendents and foremen to plan and execute the work
  • Identify prefabrication and preconstruction opportunities to improve efficiency
  • Negotiate purchase orders, subcontract scopes, pricing, terms, and conditions
  • Monitor project quality and ensure installations meet company and customer standards
  • Coach, mentor, and provide performance feedback to project team members
  • Communicate project updates, needs, risks, and solutions to division leadership

The ideal candidate is a strong electrical construction leader who can manage details without losing sight of the big picture. You should be comfortable leading in a fast-paced environment, solving problems, building strong teams, and driving results.

Preferred skills include:

  • Experience managing electrical construction projects
  • Strong understanding of the National Electrical Code and electrical theory
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and schedules
  • Experience with commercial, industrial, mission critical, or data center electrical projects
  • Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills
  • Ability to mentor others and help employees grow
  • Strong planning, coordination, and problem-solving skills
  • Computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Bluebeam, Accubid, Spectrum, or similar systems
  • Ability to manage project details while maintaining a big-picture perspective

Requirements

Minimum 5 years of electrical experience with minimum 2 years of construction leadership experience
Valid drivers license required and must be authorized to work in the U.S. and able to pass reference checks, background check, and drug screen

Working Conditions

This position may require work in active construction environments and exposure to varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, or snow. The role may require overtime, night shifts, travel, or out-of-town work depending on project needs.
