Job description

NorthEast Electrical is looking for a Full-Time Transportation Administrator to join our growing team in Brockton!

 

Location: NorthEast Electrical Headquarters in Brockton, MA - 100% on site

Hours: Monday-Friday 9am-5:30pm

Salary- $20-$22/hr

As a member of the CDC Warehouse Organization, you will be responsible for a variety of clerical and administrative duties which relate to the functions of the Transportation Departments as well as the Quality Care Department and will interact with sales, purchasing and other CDC personnel. The person in this position is exposed to all the elements that exist in a warehouse environment where the noise level is usually moderate.

What a typical day in this role looks like:

  Perform dispatch needs such as ETA requests by sales and service failure call-ins from drivers.

Assist with transportation communication both inbound and outbound.

Maintain, scan and close manifest daily.

Record and track daily metrics (# of stops, hours, and miles)

Assist the Quality care department as needed with job queues, returns, ICQA, etc.

Assist with routing as needed.

Monitor and maintain documents/processes regarding DOT Compliance

Perform other related duties as required or directed by the Transportation Manager.

What we are looking for you to bring us:

Ability to organize, multi-task, research, and adapt quickly to changes.

Product knowledge is desirable.

Working knowledge of Eclipse and Job Queues.

Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and reliability.

Able to provide a high level of customer service.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.

Must be organized with a strong attention to detail.

Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications especially Outlook and Excel.
