A well-established Building Automation & HVAC Controls organization is seeking a skilledBAS Controls Technician to support commercial, industrial, and institutional facilitiesthroughout the greater Tulsa area. This role focuses on hands-on DDC installation, service,troubleshooting, and commissioning for a wide range of HVAC and energy management systems.

The Tulsa metro continues to grow across manufacturing, healthcare, and education sectorsโ€”creatingsteady demand for experienced controls professionals who can support complex BAS environments.

  • Location: Tulsa, OK (regional customer sites)
  • Employment Type: Full-Time
  • Hourly Rate: $34.00 โ€“ $48.00/hr (Depending on Experience)

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, configure, and service BAS/DDC controllers, sensors, and associated HVAC control devices
  • Perform start-up, functional testing, point-to-point verification, and system commissioning
  • Diagnose and resolve controls-related issues, including programming errors, device faults, and communication failures
  • Modify and update system graphics, databases, schedules, and alarms
  • Install and terminate low-voltage control wiring, conduit, and field devices
  • Collaborate with mechanical contractors, facility managers, and engineering teams during project execution
  • Document system adjustments, testing results, and service activities
Ideal Candidate
  • 2โ€“5+ years of experience with BAS, DDC, or commercial HVAC controls
  • Handsโ€‘on background with platforms such as Tridium, Johnson Controls, Siemens, Honeywell, or Distech
  • Strong understanding of HVAC fundamentals, control sequences, and system integration
  • Experience with BACnet, Modbus, or LonWorks communication protocols
  • Ability to read electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, submittals, and sequences of operation
  • Solid diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent communication and customer interaction abilities
