Job description

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Control Panel Technician to join our team in Tulsa, OK. In this role, you will be responsible for the assembly, testing, and troubleshooting of control panels for various applications. If you have a passion for electrical systems and enjoy working in a collaborative environment, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities
  • Fully assemble wire panels, control boxes, and PLC's according to specifications, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
  • Point to point wiring, install PLC's, layout, drilling, isntall terminals on DIN rail, etc.
  • Conduct thorough testing of completed panels to ensure functionality and compliance with safety standards.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with control panels and electrical systems.
  • Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to improve designs and processes.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and materials used.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies while working in the facility.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in electronics or related field preferred.

  • Proven experience as a Control Panel Technician or in a similar role.

  • Strong understanding of electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.

  • Familiarity with various control systems and components.

  • Ability to layout back panels from drawings and wire control panels/PLC drawings.

  • Must have two+ years of layout and control panel wiring experience.

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
