Products include control and data handling, power distribution, payload interface cards, mass memory, GPS receivers, motor and actuation drivers and controllers, and onboard computing. MOOG has partnered with NASA to provide electronic solutions for the Artemis Orion Crew Capsule, Viper Lunar Rover, Satellite Laser Communications Relay, OSIRIS-REX to study asteroid composition along with complete satellite buses for the defense department.**MOOG Space and Defense Group** is seeking a **Sr. Electrical Design Engineer** to join the electrical engineering design team. This role owns the electrical design lifecycle for complex boards and subsystems. This includes interpreting requirements, defining system and block‐level architectures, producing schematics and block diagrams, validating designs through analysis and test, and producing supporting documentation. The candidate will also provide PCB design guidance (stack‐up, routing, SI/PI considerations) and hands‐on lab support during board bring‐up. Although it is an individual contributor role, the position may require leading design efforts, mentor junior engineers, and coordinate multi‐discipline teams. The role demands technical depth, foresight, and creativity to anticipate and resolve novel engineering challenges.
