Job description

Standard Energy Solutions is looking for a skilled Electrical Apprentice to join our growing solar team. Our Electrical Apprentice works under general supervision and direction from our certified electrician.
Pay range: $18 - $24 hour, based on experience.

Qualifications:
  • Must be hard working, honest, reliable and dedicated.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Work well in a team environment
  • Must love heights (working on roofs)
  • Punctual, regular and consistent attendance record.

Job Duties:
  • Measure, cut, and bend wire and conduit.
  • Pulling and terminating wire
  • Installing electrical equipment
  • Assist Journeyman with installing and troubleshooting lighting, panels, disconnects, conduit, solar panels, inverters.
  • Trace out short circuits in wiring, using a test meter.
  • Examine electrical units for loose connections and broken insulation and tighten connections, using hand tools.
  • Clean work area.
