Title: Business Development Manager - Commercial Electric Vehicles

Location: Remote Nationwide Preferably Los Angeles CA

Territory: Nationwide | Travel: Up to 40%

Job Type: Fulltime / Direct hire

Overview:

  • Client is seeking a proven B2B sales hunter to build nationwide business for commercial electric vehicles, low floor shuttle buses, and fleet mobility solutions.
  • You will develop new business with municipalities, airports, universities, healthcare systems, hotels, shuttle operators, corporate fleets, transportation companies, and other high utilization fleet operators.
  • The ideal candidate has a proven record of winning new business in commercial EVs, automotive, fleet, transportation, vehicle electronics, industrial equipment, aerospace, or other technical products.
  • You must be technically credible, comfortable with complex multi stakeholder sales, and capable of discussing vehicle systems, charging, fleet operations, and total cost of ownership.
  • This is a highly autonomous remote role requiring nationwide prospecting, pipeline development, customer visits, trade shows, demonstrations, proposals, negotiations, and closing.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of successful B2B technical sales or business development experience.
  • Documented success creating and closing new business.
  • Commercial vehicle, EV, automotive, fleet, transportation, or technical product experience preferred.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and technical selling skills.
  • Experience managing complex, long cycle sales.
  • Willingness to travel up to 40% nationwide.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
