MetaMatch Professional is seeking a Utility Designer with experience supporting NCDOT transportation projects to join our client in Charlotte or Raleigh\-Durham.<\/span>
<\/p>

This hybrid role focuses on preparing utility relocation and construction plans in coordination with NCDOT standards, right\-of\-way requirements, and multidisciplinary roadway teams.<\/span>

  • Prepare utility relocation and construction plans for NCDOT roadway projects<\/span>

  • Coordinate with utility owners, municipalities, and right\-of\-way teams<\/span>

  • Develop detailed plan sets using MicroStation, OpenRoads, and\/or AutoCAD<\/span>
    <\/li>\n
  • Integrate SUE data and support field verification<\/span>
    <\/li>\n
  • Ensure compliance with NCDOT standards and specifications<\/span>
    <\/li>\n
  • Collaborate with roadway engineers, project managers, and transportation teams<\/span>

        • 3+ years of experience supporting DOT or transportation projects<\/span>
          <\/li>\n
        • Experience preparing utility relocation or construction plans<\/span>
          <\/li>\n
        • Proficiency in MicroStation, OpenRoads, and\/or AutoCAD<\/span>
          <\/li>\n
        • Understanding of right\-of\-way and utility coordination processes<\/span>
          <\/li>\n
        • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects<\/span>
          <\/li>\n <\/ul>

          Preferred:<\/span>
          <\/p>\n

          • NCDOT project experience<\/span>
            <\/li>\n
          • Experience coordinating directly with utility owners<\/span>
            <\/li>\n
          • BS Degree in civil engineering or AS Degree in Civil Engineering Technology or equivalent from two\-year college or technical school<\/span><\/span>
            <\/span><\/li>\n
          • Experience in water and sewer location design <\/span><\/span>
            <\/span><\/li>\n
          • Experience with roadway or infrastructure improvement projects <\/span><\/span>
            <\/span><\/li>\n
          • Minimum of five years of design and drafting experience <\/span><\/span>
