Salary: $23-$30 DOE

As an Electric Motor Mechanic at Apparatus Repair & Engineering, Inc. (AR&E), you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining electric motors and associated equipment. This role requires technical expertise in electrical systems and mechanical components to ensure the efficient operation of motors used in various industrial and commercial applications.


Responsibilities:

- Installation and Repair: Install new electric motors and repair existing ones as per technical specifications and safety guidelines.

- Diagnostic Testing: Conduct diagnostic tests using specialized tools and equipment to identify issues with electric motors and associated components.

- Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems to determine the root cause and implement effective solutions.

- Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks such as lubricating parts, replacing worn components, and cleaning motor parts to ensure optimal performance and longevity.

- Inspection: Inspect motors for signs of wear, damage, or malfunction, and recommend repairs or replacements as necessary.

- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of repairs, installations, and maintenance activities for each motor and equipment.

- Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while working with electrical equipment to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
