Deterick ,MD**** We are seeking a talented and experienced E-Learning Developer / Instructional Designer to join our team dedicated to supporting Operational Medicine Information Systems - Army (OMIS-A). As OMIS-A modernizes the Army's electronic health record (EHR) software capabilities for operational Soldiers worldwide, effective training is paramount. Your expertise will directly contribute to ensuring our service members have the knowledge and skills necessary to utilize these vital systems, impacting global military health operations. Building on a legacy of excellence, OMIS-A ensures critical medical treatment data is captured and utilized to support the health and readiness of our forces. Responsibilities: * Design and Develop Cutting-Edge E-Learning: Utilize the full suite of Articulate 360 (Storyline 360, Rise 360, etc.) to create highly interactive, engaging, and effective online training modules for OMIS-A systems and processes. * Translate Technical Information: Collaborate closely with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to translate complex technical information, system functionalities, and procedural guidelines into clear, concise, and user-friendly learning content.
* Apply Adult Learning Principles: Implement best practices in instructional design and adult learning theory to ensure training materials are effective, memorable, and lead to measurable skill acquisition.
* Create Diverse Learning Assets: Develop a variety of e-learning components, including interactive simulations, branching scenarios, quizzes, knowledge checks, videos, graphics, and job aids.
* Manage the Development Lifecycle: From initial needs analysis and storyboard creation to course development, testing, and deployment, you will play a key role in the entire e-learning development lifecycle.
* Ensure Quality and Accessibility: Conduct thorough quality assurance on all training materials, ensuring they meet established standards, are user-friendly, and adhere to accessibility guidelines (e.g., Section 508, WCAG).
* Iterate and Improve: Gather feedback, analyze learning outcomes, and continuously refine and update existing training materials to ensure their ongoing relevance and effectiveness.
* Collaborate Effectively: Work seamlessly with a diverse team of instructional designers, SMEs, project managers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality training solutions on time and within scope. Qualifications: Required: * 1-5 years of experience in Articulate 360 (or other e-learning authoring tools). * Demonstrated mastery of Articulate Storyline 360 and Rise 360 is essential, with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse e-learning projects. * Instructional Design Acumen: Solid understanding and application of instructional design methodologies (e.g., ADDIE, SAM) and adult learning theories.
