Security Officer / Patient Concierge

As a Security Officer / Patient Concierge, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients, visitors, and staff while maintaining a secure and welcoming environment throughout the medical office. In addition to ensuring the safety and security of the facility, you will provide exceptional customer service by greeting patients, assisting with wayfinding, and offering physical assistance to elderly or mobility-impaired patients entering and exiting the building when needed. The ideal candidate is approachable, observant, compassionate, and committed to creating a safe and positive experience for every patient.

Responsibilities
  • Greet patients, visitors, and vendors professionally.
  • Provide directions and assist patients throughout the office.
  • Maintain a visible security presence.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, waiting areas, and parking lots.
  • Ensure only authorized individuals access restricted areas.
  • Respond to disturbances, emergencies, or safety concerns.
  • Assist with de-escalating difficult situations.
  • Escort patients, visitors, or staff when needed.
  • Conduct routine security rounds.
  • Complete incident reports.
  • Assist elderly, disabled, or mobility-impaired patients entering and exiting the building.
