Position: Full Time: Am & PM, Weekdays & Weekends

Position Summary: 

We’re looking for a skilled and motivated Line Cook to join our kitchen team! The ideal candidate has a passion for authentic Mexican cuisine, works well under pressure and with others, and takes pride in creating flavorful, beautifully presented dishes. You’ll help prepare fresh ingredients, cook menu items to order, and ensure every plate that leaves the kitchen represents the quality and tradition of our restaurant.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and cook all food items on the menu, including meats, seafood, vegetables, sauces, and sides following restaurant recipes and portion standards.

  • Operate various kitchen equipment (grill, flat top, fryers, oven, etc.) safely and efficiently.

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cooking station and kitchen areas in compliance with health and safety regulations.

  • Follow proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures at all times.

  • Collaborate with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure timely and accurate food preparation and service.

  • Monitor food quality and freshness, promptly reporting any shortages or issues to the kitchen manager or chef.

  • Assist with daily prep tasks such as chopping ingredients, making salsas, marinating proteins, and preparing sauces.

  • Help with inventory rotation and restocking of line stations.

  • Support other team members as needed to maintain a smooth workflow during service.

  • Uphold restaurant values of hospitality, teamwork, and consistency.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a line cook, prep cook, or similar position in a restaurant setting - not including fast food experience.

  • Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment operation and food safety procedures.

  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen.

  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and consistency in food presentation.

  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs.

  • Reliable attendance and punctuality is a must.

  • Must be eligible to work in the United States and available for evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

  • Must be able to read, speak, write, and understand English and Spanish

Compensation:

Hourly Wage: $16 -$19 hourly
