EHS Administrator
Information Technology
Outline of duties:
The EHS Administrator serves as the primary owner and business-facing administrator of the Intelex Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) platform, ensuring the system effectively supports organizational processes and objectives. This role partners closely with business users, IT, and Intelex partners to optimize system functionality, drive continuous improvement, and translate business needs into scalable system enhancements.
Primary responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary administrator and subject matter expert for the Intelex EHS management system, including configuration, user support, reporting, and system optimization.
  • Maintain and manage application settings, workflows, user roles, permissions, and notifications.
  • Update and configure forms, templates, and system settings in response to evolving business processes.
  • Provide day-to-day support to business users, including troubleshooting, guidance, and training as needed.
  • Coordinate with internal IT teams and external partners on system updates, enhancements, and issue resolution.
  • Translate business requirements into system configurations, enhancements, and functional improvements.
  • Proactively identify new use cases, optimization opportunities, and process improvements to enhance system value and user experience
  • All other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or other applicable fields and 5+ years of relevant experience. Equivalent education and experience may be considered.
  • Excellent communication skills in writing, speaking, and presenting.
  • Demonstrated critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
  • Experience working simultaneously on multiple projects and adhering to conflicting deadlines
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with all department levels
  • Ability to maintain discretion and work with sensitive and confidential subject matter

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience as change management advocate
  • Technical aptitude, requirements management, and the ability to assess and articulate risk
  • Ability to establish collaborative relationships with business partners based on deep system knowledge, professionalism, and dependability
  • Experience deploying new systems and integrating existing applications
  • Strong consulting and communication skills to provide recommendations and options to meet business needs
  • Experience administering or supporting the Intelex EHS Management System or similar EHS software platforms.
