Requisition ID6809-Posted08/18/2026-New Kensington-UNITED STATES-Full-time

We are looking for an EHS Leader to join our team at Innomotics.

The Industry-Leader of Motors and Drives

Innomotics is an industry-leading supplier of motors and large drive systems. With a trusted legacy of more than 150 years of engineering expertise, our products power all the world’s most essential industries. Today, we are bringing the #EnergyTransition to life with a portfolio that enables our customers to boost energy efficiency, reduce greenhouse gases, and minimize the carbon footprints of plants.

Our Most Powerful Engine: Our People

We are a team of more than 15,000 dedicated experts, doers, and innovators. For us, engineering the future means keeping businesses in motion. As a global player operating with the spirit and speed of a mid-sized champion, the future holds unlimited opportunities for us. If you share our bold mindset to be best-in-class, we want you IN.

Your Future Role

The EHS Leader - US Customer Services leads Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) programs across Innomotics’ Customer Services operations in the United States, driving a strong safety culture, operational excellence, and continuous improvement. As the trusted EHS partner to Customer Services leadership, this role provides risk-based guidance and helps translate regulatory, company, and customer requirements into practical controls that support safe and effective operations.

Based onsite at the Innomotics New Kensington (NKN) facility and reporting to the Head of EHS - USA, this role partners closely with US and global stakeholders. Success requires a visible field presence, strong technical credibility, and the ability to influence technicians, Field Service Representatives, supervisors, and business leaders alike.

EHS Leadership & Operational Excellence

  • Lead the US Customer Services EHS strategy, driving a strong safety culture, leadership accountability, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement across repair center and field service operations.
  • Serve as the trusted EHS partner to business leadership, providing practical, risk-based guidance and maintaining visibility of critical and Serious Injury & Fatality (SIF) risks.
  • Conduct workplace assessments, support risk management activities, verify critical controls, and provide EHS support for high-risk work, outages, projects, and field operations.

Electrical & Industrial Safety

  • Provide technical leadership for electrical and industrial safety programs, including LOTO, NFPA 70E, electrical testing, medium/high-voltage work, machine safety, lifting and rigging, hot work, confined spaces, working at heights, and contractor activities.
  • Lead incident response, investigations, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and lessons learned to improve overall EHS performance and prevent recurrence.

Training, Competency & Contractor Oversight

  • Lead EHS training and competency programs, ensuring employees and Field Service Representatives are qualified to perform work safely and effectively.
  • Support contractor qualification, onboarding, and performance management while promoting consistent implementation of EHS requirements.

Customer, Project & Compliance Support

  • Serve as the primary EHS resource for customer requirements, contractor-management systems, and project execution activities.
  • Support proposal, tender, and contract reviews by evaluating EHS requirements, compliance obligations, and operational risks.
  • Utilize EHS management systems and performance metrics to drive accountability, monitor corrective actions, identify trends, and support informed decision-making.
  • Provide oversight of applicable environmental compliance requirements, including hazardous materials, waste management, and spill prevention and response.

Your profile.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, EHS, Engineering, or a related technical field, with 10+ years of EHS experience in industrial or other high-hazard industrial environments.
  • Demonstrated operational EHS leadership experience in Oil & Gas or comparable industries.
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, risk management, LOTO, electrical safety, incident investigation, contractor safety, and training/competency programs.
  • Experience supporting field service, maintenance, or customer-site operations.
  • Proven ability to influence leaders and frontline employees and drive a strong safety culture.
  • Ability to work independently and travel approximately 30-40%, including occasional short-notice travel.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or equivalent professional certification.
  • Experience with NFPA 70E, medium- and high-voltage electrical safety, and electrical testing activities.
  • Experience supporting large motors, drives, rotating equipment, industrial electrical services, or field service organizations.
  • EHS experience in Oil & Gas, Power Generation, Utilities, Mining, Metals, Nuclear, or other high-hazard industrial environments.

What We Are Looking For

We are seeking a visible, practical, and technically credible EHS leader who thrives in operational environments and is comfortable working directly with technicians, field service personnel, customers, and business leaders.

The successful candidate will combine strong leadership, sound risk-based decision-making, and technical expertise to help employees work safely while supporting reliable business performance and customer success.

The pay range for this position is $87,000 - $149,200. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.

What’s IN it for you (Our Benefits)

  • Competitive compensation based on qualifications
  • Medical, dental, prescription and vision coverage, first day of employment
  • Matching 401(k) (immediate employer match)
  • Competitive paid time off plan, paid holidays, and floating holidays
  • Education and tuition reimbursement programs available
  • Flexibility to work remotely a few days a week
  • Paid parental leave
