As an EHR Project Manager at Gastro Health, your role is vital in overseeing the implementation and optimization of the electronic
health record (EHR) system. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of the EHR project, including planning, coordination, and stakeholder engagement. Your strong project management skills, knowledge of EHR systems, and ability to drive change contribute to the successful adoption and utilization of the EHR system. Your dedication to ensuring system functionality, training staff on EHR usage, and aligning EHR capabilities with clinical workflows supports Gastro Health in providing efficient and high quality patient care while enhancing operational effectiveness.

EHR Project Manager responsibilities are:

    Responsible for the coordination and completion of EHR projects involving planning, workflow analysis, configuration,
    design, and training of EHR (electronic health record) software enhancements.
    Delivers on set deadlines, assigns responsibilities, monitors and summarizes progress of multiple projects in unison.
    Oversee database configuration ensuring all dependent workflows (RCM, Reporting/Analytics, Interfaces, MIPS,
    HIPAA/Compliance, Accreditation, Product Activation within eCW) are accounted for in the design
    Proactively creates plan of action to remedy existing opportunities for optimization
    Ensures appropriate resources are available to provide training, support and successful handoff to internal support team
    Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders ensuring dependent project timelines are met and communicated
    Monitors performance of systems and processes; identifying and resolving problems; preparing and completing action
    plans; completing audits ensuring continuous improvement.
    Prepares department performance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.
    Coordinate department tasks and special projects to ensure quality and timelines are met.
    Serve on committees as department representative.
    Accomplishes organizational goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing projects and exploring opportunities to add
    value.

    Education/Training (or equivalent): H.S. Diploma College Degree Certification/License *desirable
    Bachelor's Degree Preferred.
    - Experience (Type of work experience, min. number of years):
    5 years of healthcare experience specializing in EHR configuration, implementation, and support.
    Experience in basic financial analysis (cost-effectiveness, cost-benefit etc.)

    Required Skills and Abilities and/or:

    Knowledge of office processes, procedures, and technology.

    Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
    Strong verbal and written communication skills.
    Skill in organizing and establishing priorities.
    Investigate and analyze information and draw conclusions.

    Cultivate professional relationships based on trust and subject matter expertise.
