Job Title: Customer Service Support
Client: Food Manufacturing Company
Location: Wichita, KS 67202
Duration: 4 Months (possibility of extension)
Shift: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM | Monday-Friday

Job Description
The Customer Service Support Lv1 position is responsible for preparing and submitting export documentation for ocean shipments, ensuring compliance with U.S. Customs and regulatory agencies. This role requires coordinating with internal teams, third-party facilities, and import brokers while maintaining accuracy and timeliness of documentation.
Responsibilities
  • Prepare, file, and verify export documentation, including bills of lading and carrier paperwork.
  • Ensure compliance with U.S. Customs, Bureau of Census, and other regulatory agencies.
  • File EEI, ISF, and coordinate with import brokers to ensure cargo clearance.
  • Review sales reports, SAP entries, and order forms to validate shipments.
  • Collaborate with overseas clients, business units, and stakeholders on shipment requirements.
  • Manage SAP and Remedy Force data elements, troubleshoot issues, and resolve problems.
  • Communicate shipment updates and documentation status to stakeholders and customers.
  • Ensure compliance with Letters of Credit and regulatory requirements for export loads.
Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma/GED.
  • Minimum 1 year of office experience.
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and work under pressure.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing systems, tools, and environments.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team.
  • Solid understanding of U.S. and global geographies.
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate's Degree OR High School Diploma/GED + 2 years' experience in Business, Logistics, Transportation, or Supply Chain.
  • Experience in forwarding, customs clearance, and knowledge of Incoterms.
  • Familiarity with SAP, AS400, GT Nexus.
  • Understanding of insurance and claims processes.
  • Strong analytical skills.
