Your work ensures essential equipment reaches customers when they need it mostโ€”keeping operations running worldwide.

Your Responsibilities:

As an Export Logistics Specialist, you will:

  • Prepare and validate export documentation including commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, and air waybills
  • File Electronic Export Information (EEI) through the AES portal and maintain audit-ready compliance records
  • Review daily sanctions screening results and escalate potential compliance concerns before shipment
  • Coordinate international shipments with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and carriers from booking through delivery
  • Compare freight options and apply Incoterms to balance cost, timing, and customer requirements
  • Track domestic and international shipments, proactively communicating status updates and delays
  • Investigate and resolve shipping exceptions, including delays, damage claims, and lost shipments
  • Evaluate carrier performance and address recurring service or cost issues
  • Partner with internal teams to improve logistics processes, reduce errors, and increase efficiency

Your Qualifications:

  • Background in Logistics, Supply Chain, International Business, or a related field
  • Experience with export compliance tools or certifications (AES/EEI filing experience preferred)
  • 2+ years of experience in logistics, shipping, or export operations
  • Knowledge of international shipping documentation, Incoterms, and export compliance practices; proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize competing deadlines
  • Clear communication skills with the ability to coordinate across teams, carriers, and customers
  • Ability to work onsite in Dayton, OH and operate between office and shipping environments

Why You Should Join Us:

  • Stability you can trust: A profitable, 135-year-old company with strong employee tenure and long-term growth
  • Built-in development: Hands-on training and mentorship with real opportunities to expand your skills and career
  • Meaningful impact: Your work directly keeps customers operational across the globeโ€”this is more than logistics, itโ€™s mission-critical delivery
  • Continuous improvement culture: Youโ€™ll be encouraged to identify better ways of working and help shape logistics performance

Benefits & Perks:
