The George Washington University Hospital (GW Hospital) is a 395-bed tertiary care, academic medical center located in downtown Washington, DC, next to the Foggy Bottom metro. GW Hospital serves a diverse group of patients - from local residents to our nation's leaders. As an academic medical center, GW Hospital has the resources and clinical expertise necessary to provide specialized, complex care. This expertise includes cardiac, cancer, neurosciences, women's health, trauma, and advanced surgery including robotic and minimally invasive surgery.

POSITION SUMMARY
• In conjunction with the Division Director, is responsible along for the 24/7 operational management and strategic planning of department. To meet the needs of the patient and to support the Department by managing performance of a variety of clinical tests and monitoring procedures throughout the hospital. Ability to communicate pertinent information effectively to Neurologists, Neurosurgeons and other appropriate personnel. Provides leadership and direction to department.
Qualifications
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
  • Education/Qualification
    • Bachelor's degree preferred
    • Board Registration Registered Electroencephalographic Technologist (R.EEG.T) required .
    • Certified Long Term Monitoring Technologists (CLTM) preferred.
    • Minimum of 5 years experience in the clinical Neurophysiology field
    • Previous supervisory experience preferred
