Position Summary
The College of Education, Department of Special Educational (SPED) invites applications for Adjunct Instructors with expertise in the following core program areas:
  • Special Education: K-12 Generalist
  • Autism
  • Applied Behavior Analysis
  • Inclusive Education - Elementary Dual Licensure
  • Inclusive Education -Secondary Dual Licensure
  • Infant/Toddler Mental Health
  • Early Intervention
  • Visually Impaired Learner
  • Orientation & Mobility

As the largest Department of Special Education in Oregon, we seek to improve the educational and life experiences of students with disabilities through the preparation of highly effective special education teachers. Our dedicated faculty and staff are committed to improving the outcomes of children and youth with disabilities through evidence-based teacher preparation, applied research, and state and national service. We welcome collaboration and value community-based partnerships to support children, youth, families, school districts, and agencies throughout the state.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in Special Education (or closely related field)
  • PK-12 Teaching Experience

Preferred Qualifications
  • Ed.D or Ph.D. in Special Education (or closely related field)
  • Experience Teaching Adults
