Job description

EXAMPLES OF DUTIES: ย (This list may not include all of the duties assigned.)
Essential Functions:ย 
1.ย ย ย ย Maintain a basic knowledge of all operating systems used within the ZCS district.
2.ย ย ย ย Assist with the design, selection, set up and installation of any additional computer systems or peripheral components to be acquired by the district. ย This would include hardware, software and network components.
3.ย ย ย ย Assist in all required record keeping, including maintenance logs and hardware and software inventories.
4.ย ย ย ย Maintain work order database, assign work orders to appropriate staff member and follow up on pending work orders to ensure work is completed in timely manner.
5.ย ย ย ย Provide telecommunication support for all building in the districts including Inter-tel, and Cisco Voice internally, as well as outside phone line providers.
6.ย ย ย ย Maintain and monitor access of all ZCS district printers; including copier and print server support and maintenance.
7.ย ย ย ย Work with the data department on data processing needs of the district and implementation of software in our Single Sign On system.









General Functions:

1.ย ย ย ย Collaborate with other members of the Technology Department to ensure the highest quality of customer service is provided to internal users of all systems.
2.ย ย ย ย Communicate professionally and effectively with all levels of the organization.
3.ย ย ย ย Assist with all computer equipment moves, additions and changes.
4.ย ย ย ย Provide software training to end users.
5.ย ย ย ย Perform annual maintenance and wiring connections on all computer equipment.
6.ย ย ย ย Other duties as assigned by the Desktop Manager, Senior Network Administrator or Corporation Chief Technology Officer.




PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS: ย ย ย ย 

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Outstanding knowledge of computer operating systems, academic and technology standards, and educational software. ย Ability to perform the job without continuous supervision and coordinate the work of others. Must be able to perform a variety of work using independent judgment, accuracy, speed, and confidentiality. ย 

Education: Bachelor Degree in Information Technology or related field preferred or ample experience in technology or educational technology field.
Experience: Minimum of 4 years experience with Information Technology or educational software required
