The Ford.com team is looking for individuals with digital marketing and delivery expertise to partner with our product organization turning data-driven insights into innovative solutions that improve sales and customer dedication.

Consider joining Ford as a Program Manager within our .com portfolio management team. This role is responsible for the communication of defined scope, capacity planning, roadmap management and operational measurement internally for cross-portfolio workstreams that directly impact customer experiences.ย 

The Program Manager will help implement new portfolio processes and be a champion for the progression and growth of the team. In addition to showing entrepreneurial thought leadership, you will be required to use core project management, communication, presentation, and creative problem-solving skills to ensure the portfolio delivers projects on time and within budget.

Based in Dearborn, MI, this is a hybrid position with a required four-day or more onsite presence each week.ย 

You'll have...

  • Bachelor's degree or a combination of education and equivalent experience

  • 5 + years of project management experience working in a fast-paced, environment where priorities shift on a regular basis with duties that include:

    • Clear understanding of analytics implementation and process

    • Firm grasp of capacity-based planning

    • Demonstrable ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget and timeline

  • 3 + years of experience working in an agile development-based environment with decision-making and creative problem-solving skills

  • 4+ years of experience in project management specific to web development

  • 4+ years of experience managing creative execution

What you'll do...

  • Effectively present and communicate delivery plans, statuses, risks and key decisions within product teams and with Senior Management on a regular basis

  • Balance multiple projects to critical path, providing regular milestone updates and risk assessments to stakeholders and Senior Management

  • Assist in new process creation and roll-outย 

  • Provide guidance to product teams on agile ceremonies, best practices, and implementation

  • Help the product lead define and articulate project strategy and objectives, scope, and business requirements

  • Think creatively to make recommendations regarding execution strategies and potential solutions

  • Identify, research, analyze and manage risks and interdependencies within projects/systems/resources, and formulate plausible solutions and contingency plans in consultation with stakeholders and Senior Management

  • Starting right from project Discovery, document project scope, high-level solutions and business requirements, while working with IT resources, gather detailed requirements and define detailed implementation plans

  • Ensure all impacted partners are involved and effectively interact with agency/vendor/business partners. Communicate expectations, share information and hold partners accountable
