Job description

Embark on a rewarding opportunity to make a difference in students’ lives as a dedicated School Psychologist serving a vibrant high school community near Hartford, CT. This is a full-time, onsite contract role, providing essential evaluation and support services to adolescents during crucial academic and personal development years.

This position spans from late August 2026 through May 2027, with the possibility of extending into the remainder of the school year. As a vital contributor within a collaborative multidisciplinary team, you’ll play a key role in supporting students, teachers, and families.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Active School Psychologist licensure and certification in Connecticut are required
  • Proven professional background in school-based settings, preferably at the high school level
  • Strong expertise in psychological evaluation, test administration, and interpretation
  • Demonstrated ability to complete PPT (Planning and Placement Team) reporting effectively
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for consultation and collaboration
  • Comfortable working onsite and participating in Zoom interviews

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments to support individualized educational planning
  • Prepare and present PPT reports, collaborating with teachers, staff, and parents
  • Participate in student support teams and contribute to intervention strategies
  • Advocate for student well-being through behavioral and emotional intervention plans
  • Offer crisis support and consultative services as needed
  • Maintain organized records and adhere to compliance standards
