Job description

Job Title: School Psychologist
Position Type: Full Time Contract (W2)
Start Date: ASAP pending onboarding (~2 weeks)
Pay Rate: $50-60/HR depending on experience

We are seeking a dedicated School Psychologist to support students within a high school setting. The School Psychologist will work collaboratively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to evaluate student needs, provide academic and behavioral support, and promote students’ overall success.

Required skills and qualifications:

  • Active CT School Psychologist License 
  • A Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology from an accredited program

Job Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and assessments to determine student needs and special education eligibility.
  • Participate in PPT meetings and contribute to the development, implementation, and review of IEPs.
  • Consult with teachers, families, administrators, and related-service providers regarding academic, behavioral, and emotional concerns.
  • Develop and recommend evidence-based interventions and behavioral support strategies.
  • Assist with crisis intervention, prevention, and student safety planning as needed.
  • Monitor student progress, maintain accurate documentation, and complete required reports.
  • Ensure services and evaluations are completed in accordance with district, state, and federal special education guidelines.
