The Educational Assistant position exists to support high quality instruction to all students, with appropriate supports for their English language learners and students with special needs. The Educational Assistant is responsible for ensuring that the district's mission is accomplished by supporting all aspects of their assigned classrooms with the goal of maximizing student achievement.

Requirements
The Educational Assistant responsibilities include working with individuals and small groups in the classroom to reinforce material introduced by the teacher; collecting, preparing and arranging resource material for use by certified personnel; and maintaining classroom records, preparing reports, scoring tests, processing books and managing supplies and classroom equipment as needed. Qualified EAs will be asked to substitute teach when needed.
